The Island Supply Store in Advetureland in the Magic Kingdom is located between The Magic Carpets of Aladdin<\/em> and the Aloha Isle location where you can buy world-famous Dole Whips. It bordered the pass-through between Adventureland and Liberty Square and was across from the restrooms. The shop offered a variety of “surf” items including shirts, hats and more from brands such as Roxy, Element, Billabong, Hurley, O’Neill and others.<\/p>\n

It closed this past week and rumors point to it becoming an upscale sunglass retail location along the lines of a Sunglass Hut or similar.<\/p>\n

I took a peek through the glass last night (Saturday, October 25th) to see the store had already been completely emptied of merchandise.<\/p>\n

I saw many of the items that were formerly in the Island Supply shop relocated in the adjoining “bazaar” shop including some of the “surf” brand men’s shirts.
